Contributors
Contributors are everyone else — anyone can propose a change, comment, or join a working group, without membership.
Mandate
Open contribution is what keeps a standard honest and widely applicable. You don't need a seat to shape it — the draft is public and so is the process.
Ways to contribute
- Propose a revision
- Submit a change to any spec section. Naming, schemas, the security profile — all of it is open while it's a draft.
- Comment
- Weigh in during the public comment period on substantive changes, before they're adopted.
- Join a working group
- Bring domain expertise to the group that owns the part of the spec you know best.
What you bring
- Real-world friction
- The edge cases and integration pain that only show up in production.
- Breadth
- Perspectives the founding cohort doesn't have, which keep the standard from over-fitting to a few vendors.
Help shape the standard.
Founding partners get a seat on the council and a hand on v1 of the spec. Anyone can contribute revisions in the open today.
