Notes
Smartcar's developer documentation (smartcar.com/docs) covers integrating with over 40 OEM brands to read vehicle signals such as odometer, location and battery level, and to send remote commands. Vehicle owners authorize access through the Smartcar Connect consent flow, and data can be delivered by webhook. The docs include iOS, Android and React integration tutorials, a Postman guide and a vehicle simulator. Vehicles API v3 was introduced on August 26, 2025, and Vehicles API v2.0 will be deprecated on December 1, 2026, so new integrations should use v3. On October 6, 2026, Everyday Electric (formerly Renew Home) announced it had acquired Smartcar and said services for existing customers will continue without interruption. No MCP server is documented.
